Here are some of the projects that I was part of
Project Mosaic Family
Alex is wearing a hoodie to create ambiguity and a sense of individuality from the other character. Taking into account the gender of the player, the hair style and clothes are designed to be suitable for both males and females.
Mary-Ann's attire is inspired by a 50's Western Housewife design. The design is to portray that of a loving and good mother/wife to the family.
Joseph's design is designed to resemble a typical working class father. The hair was inspired after watching Batman vs. Superman with the fringe.
When creating Keith, I was reminded of the appearance of the bully in class during my Kindergarten school days. The bully's hair is similar to Keith's with some slight edits. Keith's hair is similar to Alex's hair because I was inspired by how Koreans youths hair has that iconic fringe. The skull, inspired by Western Gothic is to promote "toughness" yet "fragility".
I had a friend whose name starts with an "A" was very popular in class. She is a Pink lover and most of the accessories she owns are of the same color. As Ariadne is a popular girl in Alex's class, I decided to adopt my friend into the game with her permission. The shade of Pink used symbolizes feminism like my friend who is the same.
